She enjoyed the role of Kate for its emotional depth and complex storyline.
Dmitry Pomirchy (GEORGE)
“ Acting is a number one obsession in my life. ”
In the last two years I’ve worked on many different productions like feature film “Beautiful Ohio” directed by Chad Lowe and Ted Burn's film “Purple Violets” starring Debra Messing.
I danced for Smash Mouth-Smash Hits commercial for Universal Music and was a voice for an Electric Eel for Wrigley’s Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape.
I also played a robot/human in a sci-fi film “Deployment Strategy.” In that movie I needed to protect myself from a virus that has got into my system and to find a way to survive.
But a role of George in a feature film called “A Book of Truth, a Book of Lies” is one very close to my heart. It was my first big role and though I was portraying a suicidal, manipulative kid I could understand his feelings of loneliness and despair. George who had recently lost his dad and would do anything to keep his mother to himself viewed her new boyfriend as an enemy.
Acting has been my life, and I hope it continues. My website is http://www.dmitrypomirchy.com
Devon Soles (MIKE)
Devon Soles has recently starred in such films as “The Widening Divide”, “Piece of the Pie ”, and “Over Easy”, as well as appeared on the ABC daytime drama, “One
Life to Live”. In addition to film and TV, he has also acted in several
promotional corporate videos since completing the shooting for “A Book of
Truth, A Book of Lies”.
Keith Smalls (ALEX)
Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Keith started acting professionally once he moved to California, after finishing school in Charleston. There he studied with a number of acting studios, did print work and a few parts in commercials. Wanting to put more theater on his resume, he moved to New York in 2001. While in New York, he was able to branch out into not only the theater world but also into daytime TV working on thee major Soaps in New York City. While working in daytime he was able to land parts in independent movies: “Cousin Catty” directed by Dennis Stevenson; “Made up and dreaming” directed by Jennifer Restak; and “A Book of Truth, a Book of Lies“ directed by Mikhail Dvortsov.
When describing the character of Alex in “A Book of Truth”, one can’t help but see that this guy is caught up in the fast and furious world of movie producing and Hollywood, and is only interested in one thing… making lots of money. This is how he can afford to live his fast pace, drug induced life. But, as you see at the end of the film, he does love his country and feels passionate about his God given rights as an American.
